week 9

Today it was all about dreamweaver and building our website.We worked more indebth with setting up the tech aspects of our personal website. We set up the root folder wioth will hold all of our pictures logos and all that fun stuff. I was engaged this whole class b/cmim trying to set up a good website and get a good grade. Very easy going class today. =)

week 8

Today was a interesting class... We started out the class by presenting our projects. I really enjoyed watching them, some were just well put together and others were extremly entertaining. Then we went on to set up a subdomain name for our website. I sucsessfully set up my own subname and then got called sent of class. Then when I came back I Opened dreamwaever and started to design my website. Shane showed m e some tricks to help it move a lot faster and get what i needed done. Final exam Review / @nd Flash demo

Flash amination can be done by Motion tween and shape tween ( ing) In flash!!! Today we opened the flash program and then we opened 2 images in the library.WE set up the map to fit the backround set in key frames at number 40 and locked that layer.Then we dragged over the plane image resized it set in they key frame at 40 and then we used the pencil tool to draw a line in which the plane would follow. After that was done we set it to the motion tween thee if you view the movie you will be able to see the plane moving over the USA map.I was engaged the whole time thanks to coffie and not wanting to mess up =X b/c that would be bad. So yay for getting through another tutorial. YOU NEED TO DO A MOTION TWEEN AND INSERT TIMELINE AND CREATE A MOTION TWEEM. AND THEN YOU CREATE A GUIDE MOTION * Now were working on shape tween You fit to window ,import, drag over image resize insert key frames ( as many as you want) click tween icon and click shape, open new window type you letters, the open new window type it again insert key frames move letters. breakapart key elsments are break apart select the tween shape in properties palete key frame blank key frame edit multiple frames picture these are all tings that we've learned last week and this week now we should be able to sucsesfully create a flash animation.

week 6

Today in class we started out intro to Flash. I liked the program and how it was demonstrated. We opened a green guy and we made him walk across the page. It was pretty cool because i always wondered how you could make a object move. I had a very engaging class just because the tutorial was ncie and slow and I had plenty of time to understand the aplication. woohoo for no disengagement. <3

midterm week

Today was our class midterm, the class was split into two halves. We were tested in photoshop and illistrator. We were given a timeline of 20 min for photoshop and 10 minutes in Illistrator. I am confident that I passed the final.

week 4 blog!!!!!

on the hill guide vs the draw hill. oops. Well my most engaging moment in class was well the whole class, especially during other students presentations. It was really good to see what everyone else did , esp the ones who are very proficient in photoshop. I love getting inspiration from other people. Good job to those in my group, you all did very well!!! Hopefully the rest of the classes will go as well as this one did... anywho have a good day everyone

week 3 image manipulation

1)When i create a file in photoshop the first thing that you do is click preferences and set it up correctly.

2) Click on image , verify mode

- standard RGB for Internet uploading

-gray scale for black and white

-cymk for printing options

3) Standard image resolution size for a image is 72 pixels per inch!!! and thing that goes over 120 will be a image resolution for print work. Between 300 and 400 for print work is recommended.

-Photoshop is Raster imaging , and contains bits and pixels. this is called a bit map image and that equals raster image. That means that it is resolution dependant. The " main ingredient" is pixles.

Thoughts on class -

Today was a very interesting class... My most engaged moment in class was the whole entire class time. Today i was very eager to learn and focousing very hard. I did learn some new things which is good news for me. So in other words I was never at one point disengaged. I hope that next class I learn just as much or even more. Till then good luck everyone

Master Bedroom upload!!!!!

Here oviously is my master Bedroom upload. I did it in photo shop. It was really easy but the teacher went WAY TO FAST and took a long time before getting to students which suxed. I didnt have a really engaging moment , unless you can count the few moments when I was lost because the teacher was going crazy fast and other student were trying to help me ( THANX GUYS!!) Basically i was disengaged the whole time b/c its early and im tired. Also we started a tutorial in dreamweaver, so that we can start setting up our websites. we learned all the basics including where the html code is , color / size change , placing the words/ images. etc. So now I feel confident thatI will be able to sucsessfully be able to set up my first website. =) till next time <3

week one ( first class)

Its way to early for class. I was ten minutes late because Icommute from sarasota and it was raining. Then financial aid didnt have my class scedule ready so I was even later. I will say that it was refreshing to come to a class where there was a good sence of humor/ relaxed atmosphere. Going over the class outline i thinki it will be fun and semi simple only because at my last school we basically had to teach ourselves the program and did very simple projects. So hopefully i will be acually challenged. p.s it really is too eary and i cant wake up =(
